The star of "The Female Face of Love" Lucy Gallardo, died this weekend at the age of 83 years, the causes are still unknown.
The actress real name was Elida Lucia Cardarelli, and she was born on December 23, 1929 in Argentina. Lucy appeared in films and television movies at a very young age in her native country and married an Argentine actor who was famous movie star in Mexico, Luis Aldas .
After their divorce she continued to live in Mexico and participated in Mexican films where she met her second husband, Enrique Rambal who's the father of her daughter Rebecca.
In his most famous soap opera character in the soap was made in Mexico longer, "Love Has Female Face" as the owner of a beauty salon, a role she reprized in the film version. She also participate in other Mexican telenovelas as Lagrimas Negras, Juegos del Destino y Si, Mi Amor.
Her most recent involvement was with actor Eduardo Yanez in the soap Te amaré en silencio, this production was recorded in the United States, where Gallardo, also shared credits with the late Mexican actor Julio Alemán, in the soap Wow in 1986 .
During her last minutes of life, her daughter was with her.
As a writer she was known for a classic telenovela in Argentina, La Extraña Dama, starring Luisa Kuliok. At a later age Lucy was involved in films made in Hollywood such as "How the Garcia Girls Spent Their Summer" and in America her last television role was in the telenovela Te Amare en Silencio for Univision.
